NEWS 21.08.06

FACE FRONT NEWS

FaceFront are proud to announce the signing of Norwegian metal band BREED. The band, who can be described as a mixture of Pantera meets Black Label Society, will record their debut album this fall with a winter 2007 release.

The latest FaceFront signing is TRIOSPHERE from Trondheim. Their debut-album "Onwards" was recorded during spring at TopRoom Studio and mixed at Studio Freedman this summer. This is classic melodic heavy metal, fronted by a female vocalist that will blow you away! "Onwards" is set for a Norwegian release on 16. October, with a European release to follow shortly after.

FaceFront has re-signet CARNIVORA for their second album. The band, wich is fronted by Jorn- and Arcturus guitarist Tore Moren, will release their upcoming album "Re-Incarnal" in Norway on 18. September. A European release will follow soon...

Another re-signing to FaceFront is SCARIOT. The new album features a brand new line-up and a different change in style. Only guitarist and founding member Daniel Olaisen (also of Blood Red Throne) is left from the last album. New faces are vocalist Øyvind Hægeland (Spiral Architect), bassist Steve DiGiorgio (Sadus, Testament, Death) and drummer Asgeir Mickelson (Borknagar, Spiral Architect). Previously the band has been labeled as progressive metal (close to Nevermore) - the new album show a more aggressive style. There are still lots of progressive elements, but the music itself is slighty more thrash metal. The upcoming album is entitled "Momentum Shift". A release date has not been set yet.

Still hot on FaceFront, and the only other release on the label so far in 2006, is THE CARBURETORS and their second album "Loud Enough To Raise The Dead". This is kick-ass fast forward rock'n roll!
